How Do I Check My Viasat Account?

You can check that status and details of your account anytime by setting up your Viasat User account online or in the My Viasat mobile app. A few quick tips before you register your new account: (1) When you sign up, Viasat will send you a confirmation email. Keep that email handy, maybe even printing it out if you find that convenient. The reason is that it contains your Account Number. You’ll need your Account Number to set up your online and mobile app account. (2) You’ll also need your MAC address located on the back of your modem. You may want to write both numbers down in a safe place so you’ll have them handy for this purpose or for contacting Viasat in future.

Once you register, go to the Overview tab and the top right side of the screen. It’s the very first page of your My Viasat dashboard online and in the mobile app and it will appear each time you log in. Your Dashboard gives you the status of your data usage and allows you to buy more high-speed data. You can also turn your Data Extender ON or OFF, review your payment due date and billing details, make a payment, see your current plan, change your plan, and update your contact information. Your Viasat Dashboard is home base for all your account information.

Your billing period is based on the date your equipment was installed. You statement is emailed to you on your billing date. Payment is due ten days later and will be processed using the payment method you put on file with Viasat.

Ten days before your bill cycle date Viasat will send you an email summarizing your monthly bill. Billing is for one month in advance of service. The very first bill will include a charge for the days of service before the actual billing date, a charge for a full month of service on the bill cycle date and the monthly charge for leased equipment such as modem, dish, and TRIA.
