However, Viasat just introduced a new $99 no-contract plan called Viasat Unleashed that has 850 GB of prioritized data per month at speeds of up to 150 Mbps. This will cover average streaming, web browsing, email and social media usage, video conferencing, large file downloads, home security cameras, and online work. On average, a typical U.S. household uses 300-500 GB of data monthly, making the 850 GB allocation generous. Data you use beyond this is still free but a reduced speed during peak congestion periods.
