Does Viasat Have ACP?

No, Viasat no longer participates in the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), and neither do other internet service providers. The entire program ran out of funds in April 2024. Anticipating this, the FCC froze new enrollments on February 7, 2024, as April was expected to be the last month fully funded by the program. While Congress has not approved new funding as of this writing, one key factor is that this is an election year. Both major parties will likely seek to maximize their reach to as many voters as possible online, so it is conceivable that the program could be rescued with last-minute funding through November. In the U.S., more than 127 million households exist, and 20 million of these are enrolled in the ACP.
