Ziply Wi-Fi Router Lease Pricing Changes
Ziply Fiber is a popular internet service provider offering high-speed fiber and DSL internet across several states in the Pacific Northwest. New customers will pay $15 to lease a router while existing customers will still pay $12. Ziply is adding a nice incentive for plans under 2 Gigs with the inclusion of Whole-Home Wi-Fi. The Ziply Fiber network is available in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. The company, which took over part of Frontier Communications' network in 2020, has since expanded and upgraded its infrastructure to provide gigabit-speed internet, with its fiber service reaching speeds as high as 10 Gbps. Ziply Fiber also offers affordable plans, with entry-level options starting at $20 per month, and it prides itself on not requiring contracts or imposing data caps.
Ziply customers have typically paid $12 per month for a router lease and that will remain steady for existing customers. New customers, however, will pay $15 per month for the router lease.
Geographically, Ziply Fiber's footprint covers both urban and rural areas, serving cities like Seattle, Portland, Spokane, and smaller towns across the four states. The company has been investing in expanding its fiber network, upgrading older DSL lines to fiber where possible, and is committed to expanding high-speed internet access in underserved areas.
Ziply focusses on fiber technology that allows it to deliver highly reliable, symmetrical internet speeds, making it a strong competitor in the region for both residential and business customers.
