What Channel Is GCSEN On? Pelicans TV and Streaming Guide
By RSINC editorial team | Updated

GCSEN is the Gulf Coast Sports & Entertainment Network, carrying regional New Orleans Pelicans games. In New Orleans, the antenna listing is WVUE 7.1. A local broadcast can be free to receive, but an antenna only works where the signal reaches your home.
For related viewing, see our NBA on Peacock guide and NextGen TV equipment guide. The regional feed, a national broadcast and a streaming subscription are different viewing routes.
DIRECTV and U-verse channels
The network’s DIRECTV announcement identifies channel 676 for DIRECTV streaming, 676-6 for satellite and U-verse 759 in standard definition or 1759 in high definition. Check your package and service address; the streaming and satellite entries are not identical.
The announced home coverage spans Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama, with different local-market arrangements. Search the exact game in your current guide. A channel appearing in a broad lineup does not establish authorization for every address or matchup.
Watching with an antenna
Connect the antenna to the television’s antenna input and run a channel scan. Check your local GCSEN station rather than entering New Orleans’ number in another city. Reception depends on tower distance, terrain, building materials and antenna placement.
Try a safe indoor placement and rescan before buying more equipment. A channel scan finds signals the television can receive; it does not create coverage where there is none. Ask a qualified installer about outside mounting instead of climbing or working near power lines yourself.
Pelicans+ streaming
The team’s broadcast page lists Pelicans+ at $14.99 monthly or $99.99 for the season. Confirm current pricing, renewal terms, ZIP eligibility and supported devices before purchasing. A local streaming plan is separate from an out-of-market NBA subscription.
Check whether an existing service already includes the game you want. If you only need a few dates, compare the actual months you would pay for with the season option, rather than treating a season pass as a full calendar year.
National games are separate
Use the team’s current schedule for each date’s assigned broadcaster. A regional game listing does not supply exclusive national broadcasts automatically. Similarly, an out-of-market package can have local and national restrictions.
Search the complete matchup, verify the live feed and test sign-in before tip-off. If comparing home internet, check AT&T and other local options at your address. Our streaming speed guide covers the home connection; faster internet does not remove a broadcast blackout or account restriction.
