NBA on Peacock 2026-27: Schedule, Price and Which Plan You Need

Every NBA game NBC Sports carries in 2026-27 streams live on Peacock, and you need at least Peacock Premium to watch. In October 2026 Premium cost $12.99 a month or $129.99 a year plus tax. NBC Sports scheduled 100 regular-season games across NBC, Peacock and NBCSN. The season opened Tuesday, Oct. 20, with a tripleheader on NBC and Peacock: Celtics at Pistons at 3 p.m. ET, 76ers at Knicks at 7 p.m. and Thunder at Spurs at 9:30 p.m.

Prices are before tax. Peacock raised prices on Aug. 18, 2026, so anyone who signed up earlier may still be on an older rate until a promotion or annual plan ends. Live sports keep their ads on every plan, so Premium Plus is only worth it if you want your local NBC channel or fewer ads on shows and movies.
The three NBA nights on NBC and Peacock
- Peacock NBA Monday runs from Oct. 26, 2026, to April 5, 2027, with up to two games a week that are exclusive to Peacock and NBCSN. They are not on your local NBC station.
- Coast 2 Coast Tuesday starts Oct. 27 with a doubleheader most weeks. Your NBC station shows the game for your region, and Peacock streams both games nationwide.
- Sunday Night Basketball returns Jan. 24, 2027, with 16 games on NBC and Peacock, including seven doubleheaders, with 10 also in Spanish on Telemundo.

NBCSN vs Peacock-only games
Peacock NBA Monday games also air on NBCSN, the cable sports channel NBC relaunched for live sports. If your TV package includes NBCSN, you can watch those Monday games on cable without Peacock. Games Peacock does not have
- The NBA Cup knockout rounds, meaning the quarterfinals (Dec. 4–5), semifinals (Dec. 8–9) and the Dec. 11 championship at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, stream on Prime Video.

Internet speed for streaming NBA games
A single HD stream runs comfortably on a steady connection of about 10 to 25 Mbps, but live sports are less forgiving than movies because nothing buffers ahead. If several people stream, game, or join video calls while the game is on, a plan of 300 Mbps or more leaves room to spare. A wired Ethernet connection to the TV or streaming stick usually helps more than a faster plan. Cable providers such as Xfinity and Spectrum also bundle Peacock with some internet or TV plans, so check your account before paying for it separately.

- Sign up for Peacock Premium or Premium Plus, or check whether your internet or TV provider includes it.
- Install the Peacock app on your smart TV, streaming device, phone or game console.
- Open the Sports or NBA section a few minutes before tip-off. Monday games are listed as Peacock exclusives.
