Spectrum Fiber Reaches 2,900+ Warrick County, Indiana Homes and Businesses
Updated

Spectrum announced on October 20, 2026, that its expanded fiber network is now available to more than 2,900 additional homes and businesses in previously unserved or underserved parts of Warrick County, Indiana. The new lines also carry Spectrum TV, mobile and home phone service. Residents can check a specific address at spectrumruralexpansion.com.
What Spectrum announced
- More than 2,900 Warrick County homes and businesses can now order Spectrum over the new fiber lines.
- The expansion targets previously unserved or underserved areas.
- The work is part of Spectrum’s multi-year, $7 billion rural program to build more than 100,000 miles of fiber to about 1.7 million locations nationwide.
- Services offered include gigabit internet, Spectrum Mobile, TV and voice.
The project grew from Spectrum’s June 2024 announcement, which planned service for more than 2,400 locations in the county by the end of 2026. That build combined money Spectrum won in the FCC’s Rural Digital Opportunity Fund auction, an Indiana Next Level Connections grant and Spectrum’s own investment.
Speeds on the new network
In its 2024 county announcement, Spectrum listed Spectrum Internet Gig with download speeds up to 1 Gbps and its standard Spectrum Internet plan starting at 300 Mbps. Pricing depends on the address and the current offer, so check yours before ordering.

If Spectrum has not reached your road
For rural homes without wired options, the three satellite choices are Starlink, Viasat and Hughesnet. Starlink residential prices and plan speeds vary by address; check the offer available for your location. Customers who order Viasat through RSINC are guaranteed at least 80 Mbps download and 3–5 Mbps upload; actual speeds may be higher. Hughesnet availability also depends on your address and a suitable view of the southern sky.
