Holland BPW Fiber: Plans, Prices and Address Eligibility
By RSINC editorial team | Updated

Holland Board of Public Works advertises symmetrical fiber internet at $45 a month for its 2 Gbps plan and $125 a month for 10 Gbps. These are the provider's published rates checked November 3, 2026. Availability still needs to be confirmed for the specific property.
The service was already connecting customers before this month's coverage. BPW's 2024 annual report described customers coming online as construction progressed, so this guide does not treat November 2026 as the network's first launch.
Published plans and what they include
| Plan | Monthly rate | Label's typical download and upload |
|---|---|---|
| 2 Gbps | $45 | 1,800 Mbps each way |
| 10 Gbps | $125 | 8,000 Mbps each way |
BPW lists installation and a Wi-Fi 6 router as included, with no contract and no data cap. Its broadband labels identify both base prices as non-introductory. The labels also list optional mesh extenders at $5 per device per month and additional IP addresses at $3 each per month. Confirm the options on your order rather than treating every add-on as free.
Typical label speeds describe the provider's measurements, not a promise that every device will reach them. The router, Ethernet ports, cables, Wi-Fi conditions and the device itself can limit a speed test. See whether 2 Gig internet is worth it before paying for capacity your equipment cannot use.
Check the property and installation status
BPW's current fiber page focuses this expansion on the City of Holland. Its signup guidance says service becomes available as fiberhoods come online. An address appearing in a city or ZIP search is not confirmation that an installation is ready today.
- Use BPW's fiberhood address lookup for the installation property.
- Ask whether it is ready for service or is still an interest registration.
- Review the current order, optional equipment and installation arrangements.
- Keep your existing internet until the replacement is installed and working if continuous access matters.
If you are outside the city, ask BPW about other services instead of assuming these two plans apply. Our Holland internet directory and BPW provider guide offer additional context.
Compare the actual offer
Compare your complete current bill with the service available at the same address. Check upload speeds, equipment, data policies, installation, discounts and future rate terms. A non-introductory rate is not a promise that a provider will never change its prices.
For cable alternatives, confirm whether the connection is fiber to the premises or another access technology. Our fiber-powered versus fiber-to-the-home guide explains that distinction. Competitor promotions are address dependent; this page does not quote unverified Xfinity or AT&T prices.
Frequently asked questions
Are the published Holland BPW rates promotional?
The provider's current broadband labels mark the two base monthly prices as non-introductory. Confirm current terms before ordering.
Does every home in a Holland ZIP qualify?
No. Check the exact property, city eligibility and fiberhood readiness directly with BPW.
Will my Wi-Fi device reach the plan's full speed?
Not necessarily. Device capabilities, network equipment and local Wi-Fi conditions can limit performance.
Should I cancel my current provider before installation?
Confirm that the replacement is installed and working first if you need continuous internet access.
How should I compare another provider?
Compare the full address-specific charges, upload and download service, equipment and data terms rather than headline prices alone.
