NFL Sunday Ticket for $30 a Month: Is the Deal Still Worth It?
Updated

Yes, the deal is still on. As of October 2, 2026, YouTube is still offering NFL Sunday Ticket to new users for $240 for the season, or eight monthly payments of $30. That's half of the $480 standalone price returning subscribers pay. But some of the extras that came with the deal earlier in the season have changed, and the monthly plan has fine print worth reading before you sign up.

Who qualifies for the $30 a month price
The $240 price is for new users, meaning people who haven't had Sunday Ticket before. You can get it with YouTube TV or on its own through YouTube. YouTube's terms don't list an end date, but they say the offer can change or end at any time, so don't assume it will last all season.
If you've had Sunday Ticket before, you're a returning user. Your cheapest option is bundling with YouTube TV at $378.
The current YouTube TV stack
Many fans pair Sunday Ticket with YouTube TV so they also get their local FOX and CBS games and national broadcasts. Earlier in the season, YouTube promoted a different sports-plan bundle, which ended on September 30. The current offer is Sunday Ticket plus the YouTube TV Sports and News Plan:
- Sunday Ticket: $240, or $30 a month for 8 months
- Sports and News Plan: $49.99 a month for the first 5 months, then $71.99 a month
That works out to about $80 a month for the first five months if you use the monthly Sunday Ticket payments. The Sports and News Plan offer is for new YouTube TV members and ends November 16, 2026. YouTube TV's full base plan is $82.99 a month. If you want NFL RedZone, the Sports Plus add-on costs $10.99 a month.
Keep in mind that bundled Sunday Ticket depends on your YouTube TV membership. If you cancel YouTube TV, you lose Sunday Ticket too. Standalone Sunday Ticket doesn't need YouTube TV.

The fine print on monthly payments
- Payments can't be canceled. The eight $30 payments are non-cancelable, and the first one is charged at purchase. You're committing to $240 either way.
- No free trial on installments. YouTube's 7-day free trial for new users applies only if you pay the full price up front.
- Auto-renewal. Recurring plans renew for the 2027-28 season unless you turn off auto-renew. Set a reminder after the Super Bowl.
- No refunds and no commercial use. A bar or restaurant needs a commercial package instead.
What Sunday Ticket does and doesn't include
Sunday Ticket carries out-of-market Sunday afternoon games. It doesn't include the games on your local FOX and CBS stations, Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football or digital-only games. That's why many fans pair it with YouTube TV or another way to watch local channels.
Deals that have ended
Two discounts are no longer available. A YouTube Premium member price of $204 for new users, or $25.50 a month, ended September 30, 2026. A save-$144 renewal offer for Premium members ended September 21.
A few offers are still running. American Express card members who enroll can get $35 back on Sunday Ticket purchases of $240 or more, with that offer set to expire October 16, 2026. Some internet providers also offer Sunday Ticket deals. Xfinity, for example, advertises Sunday Ticket for $240 for its customers through October 28.
Is it worth it this late in the season?
The new-user price is the same whether you sign up in September or October, so you get fewer games for the same money the later you join. With most of the regular season still ahead, $240 is still a good value if you follow an out-of-market team every Sunday. If you mostly watch your local team, YouTube TV or an antenna may be all you need.
Make sure your internet can handle game day
Sunday Ticket's multiview mode streams several games on one screen, and live sports can't buffer far ahead. Use a wired connection for your main TV if you can, and make sure your plan has room for everyone else in the house streaming at the same time.
