What Channel Is CBS on Spectrum?

CBS has no single nationwide channel number on Spectrum. Find your local CBS affiliate in the address-specific lineup or search CBS and the station's call letters in your guide. The number used by a station over the air can differ from its cable number.

Start with the Spectrum provider guide and our local-channel guide if you are comparing service at a new address.

Find your station and number

  1. Open Spectrum's official channel-lineup lookup and enter the service address.
  2. Search CBS in your TV guide or Spectrum TV app. Confirm the station call letters and whether the listing is HD.
  3. Check whether the channel is included with your actual subscription before ordering or changing a plan.

A station-confirmed example

Milwaukee's WDJT, branded CBS 58, lists Spectrum channels 5, 9, 605 and 1005 on its official viewing page. Those are local examples, not numbers to use in every Spectrum market. Follow the station and address listing for your home.

CBS and CBS Sports Network are different

A listing for CBS Sports Network does not establish that you receive your local CBS station, or the reverse. Check the exact network carrying the program. The CBS Sports Network guide explains the separate cable channel.

Check live sports by game

A regional CBS game may differ from the one shown in another city. Confirm the opponent, date and local station listing rather than assuming that every CBS affiliate carries the same NFL game. For Pittsburgh viewing, see the Steelers on Spectrum guide.

If CBS is missing

First remove any guide filters and confirm your service location and subscription. If you are using the app away from home, check the rules for that device and location. Ask Spectrum to confirm carriage and authorization for the specific station. Repeatedly trying another city's channel number will not establish access.

Before choosing a package, compare the complete monthly price, equipment, taxes, fees and any promotional expiry. This guide does not quote a nationwide price for a local-channel package.
