T-Mobile Fiber 5 Gig: Announced Price, Terms and Address Checks
By RSINC editorial team | Updated

T-Mobile announced Fiber 5 Gig for a November 3, 2026 launch at $90 per month with AutoPay, plus taxes and fees, backed by a 10-year price guarantee for the internet data rate. That is the company's announced offer, subject to location and eligibility; confirm the actual plan and total charge for your complete address before ordering.
What the 5 Gig announcement includes
The November 2 company release describes a fiber connection with matching upload and download speeds, a router and professional installation included, unlimited data, no annual contract, and a mesh extender where needed. A wireless-phone bundle is not required for the announced fiber pricing.
The 10-year commitment does not freeze every possible charge. T-Mobile excludes taxes and fees, voluntary equipment or speed upgrades, selected promotions, usage-based charges, third-party services and network-management practices. Treat the data-rate commitment and the complete household bill as separate questions.
Check the offer for your address
The general plans page says rates depend on the verified service address and that speed tiers vary by location. At this November 3 review, the public page also contains offers and older plan descriptions that differ from the launch release. This guide therefore does not present one nationwide table of slower-tier promotions or assume that every location can order 5 Gig.
Use a complete street and unit address rather than stopping at ZIP screening. Save the selected plan name, monthly data rate, taxes and fees, discount requirements and any installation appointment. If 5 Gig does not appear, ask whether the address is eligible rather than substituting a different product with a similar name.
Separate fiber from wireless home internet
Fiber 5 Gig is not the same product as T-Mobile's 5G wireless home internet. Our fiber and 5G comparison explains the distinction. Check which physical connection and equipment the order actually supplies, especially when an address form displays several products.
Before paying for a faster tier, list the devices and activities that need it. Ask which gateway, Ethernet ports and client equipment can use the connection you are considering. A plan's advertised capacity does not mean every Wi-Fi device will measure that rate. Keep equipment compatibility separate from a claim that a plan is available.
Handle promotional credits separately
The launch announcement includes limited-time bill-credit and virtual-card promotions. Read the current offer's eligibility, redemption process, timing and cancellation conditions before counting those amounts as savings. This guide does not subtract a temporary incentive from the recurring monthly rate or promise that all promotions combine.
For comparison shopping, use the written recurring total and the service you can actually order. Our T-Mobile Fiber and Google Fiber guide provides another comparison framework; recheck each provider's current address-specific terms.
