Optimum Internet Prices: Fiber Plans Up to 8 Gig

Optimum's current rate card took effect October 1, 2026. Rate card prices are the standard monthly prices before promotions, so they're what you'll pay once a deal ends. Here are the numbers that matter for internet customers.

Fees and other prices to know
- Network Enhancement Fee: $6 a month
- Optimum Advantage Internet and Advantage Fiber Internet: $15 a month for eligible low-income households
- Slower markets: speeds up to 15 Mbps are $55 and up to 30 Mbps are $65 a month
- Optimum Phone: $35 a month
Legacy customers
The new rate card applies to internet customers on the cable network who started on January 8, 2024 or later. Customers who started on or before January 7, 2024 stay on Optimum's Legacy Plus rate card. Optimum says it may move legacy customers to the newer card in offers or retention, and that the move alone won't raise their price. Changing speed, equipment or moving doesn't automatically move a legacy customer.
Is Optimum worth it?
The symmetrical fiber tiers are strong, but $115 a month for 1 Gig at rate card prices is high next to many fiber rivals, and the $6 fee comes on top.
