Fubo Adds Four NHL Team Networks: Hurricanes, Wild, Blues and Blue Jackets
Updated

Hockey fans in four NHL markets have a new way to watch their local team without cable. On September 28, 2026, Fubo announced a multi-year deal with the NHL to carry the new team-run networks for the Carolina Hurricanes, Minnesota Wild, St. Louis Blues and Columbus Blue Jackets for the 2026-27 season.
All four teams previously aired on FanDuel Sports Network. This season, each club has its own network, available on a mix of cable, Fubo and Prime Video. Here's how it works and how to choose.
The four networks on Fubo
| Team | Network | Also available on |
|---|---|---|
| Carolina Hurricanes | Hurricanes Hockey Network (HHN) | Prime Video, Spectrum |
| Minnesota Wild | Wild+ | Prime Video; other providers being added |
| St. Louis Blues | Blue Note+ | Prime Video, Spectrum |
| Columbus Blue Jackets | Blue Jackets Hockey Network | Prime Video, Spectrum TV |
The teams say talks with more cable, satellite and streaming providers are ongoing, so this list may grow during the season.
Who can watch
These are regional networks, so you can only watch them inside the team's local broadcast territory. Fubo uses your home ZIP code to decide which regional networks you get. If you live in the Carolinas, the Columbus area, Minnesota or the Blues' five-state territory, enter your ZIP when you sign up to confirm the network shows up in your lineup.
If you live outside a team's territory, these networks won't be available. Out-of-market fans can follow games through NHL Center Ice or NHL Power Play on the ESPN app, subject to local blackouts.
Which games are on the team networks
The team networks carry the regular-season games that aren't exclusive to the NHL's national partners. The Blue Jackets and Blues both list ABC, ESPN, ESPN+/Hulu and TNT as the national exceptions. For example, Blue Note+ plans to produce 73 Blues games this season. You'll still need access to those national networks for the remaining games. Fubo carries ESPN and ABC, but it doesn't carry TNT.
Which Fubo plan do you need?
The Wild say fans in their territory can watch Wild+ with the Fubo Pro or Fubo Sports plans. In some markets, Fubo delivers regional sports networks through its My Local Sports add-on for the Fubo Sports plan. Because packaging varies by market, check the lineup for your ZIP before you subscribe. Our guide to the Fubo My Local Sports add-on explains how that add-on works.
Streaming hockey takes steady internet
Live sports buffer more than on-demand shows. Enter your ZIP to compare internet plans that can handle game night.
Fubo vs Prime Video for local hockey
The team networks also stream on Prime Video in their home markets, as part of a deal that makes Prime Video the local streaming home for six NHL teams. You don't need an Amazon Prime membership. The Blues, for example, say Blue Note+ streams with a free Amazon account and a subscription of $19.99 a month or $99.99 a year. Check your team's site for its exact offer.
Prime Video makes sense if you only want your local team's games and already have a way to watch ESPN, ABC and TNT, or don't mind missing national games.
Fubo makes sense if you want a full live TV service with your team's network, plus local broadcast channels and national sports networks like ESPN in one app. It costs more each month than a single team subscription, but it replaces more of a cable package.
Spectrum makes sense if you already have Spectrum TV. HHN, Blue Note+ and Blue Jackets Hockey Network are on Spectrum in their territories.
Make sure your internet is ready
Live sports are less forgiving than movies. A stream can't buffer far ahead, so dips in your connection show up as stutters or a drop in picture quality right when a play is happening. A steady connection matters more than a big speed number. If several people stream at once, aim for a plan with headroom, and connect your main TV with Ethernet or put it close to your router.
