There must be some other issue if your upload speed test is reading a speed of zero. If your upload speed truly was zero the messages would never make it to the server to test the speed of your internet. It is possible that a firewall could be blocking the connection to your internet and not allowing anything to be uploaded to the server. Or there could be a script blocker or adblock on the specific browser you are working on. Try running the speed test on a different browser to see if that is the issue. If you are running the test wirelessly then you could try connecting an ethernet cable to the device and run the test. Having a direct connection with the router should help with communication. If none of these options help to at least increase your upload speed a little, you can call your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and see if you can get someone to come look at your router or to see if you can get it replaced. If your router is 3 or more years old then it would help in general to get a router that has newer software and firmware on it.
