Is viasat faster than hughesnet?

Viasat is faster than HughesNet. With Viasat having newer technology than HughesNet, Viasat is able to deliver a stronger service and faster speeds. Viasat is also going to send three more satellites up into space in 2021 and 2022 which will cover the whole world. This will give everyone the option to use satellite internet in areas where internet was not available beforehand. With the technology being used and newer technology on the way the devices you use in your home won’t be compatible with Viasat’s newer equipment so leasing is your only option. With the new equipment you receive you can benefit from the quick speeds that Viasat offers in their plans. All of HughesNet’s plans have the same download speed at 25 Mbps while Viasat has a range of download speeds from 12 Mbps to 100 Mbps. HughesNet’s speed of 25 Mbps is just enough to watch Netflix at 4K on one tv. If you have multiple members in your residence then you won’t be able to do much else like stream another show or play an online game. At 100 Mbps multiple people can stream a different show and stream music and work from home because at that speed it can handle the chaos. With having speeds only at 25 Mbps it hinders what you can do or what you have access to. Viasat is much faster with their higher plans and has the ability to do much more.
