Does Viasat Require a Contract Early-Termination Fee?
If you terminate your Viasat broadband internet service before your contract ends, you will owe an early-termination fee of $15/month for each month remaining on your contract. The charge is applied to the credit card, debit card or bank account associated with your Viasat account.
If you choose the Viasat No Long-Term Contract Option, when you sign up for a Viasat satellite internet plan, you pay a No Long-Term Contract Fee of as part of your first month’s bill. With payment of this fee, you may cancel your Viasat internet service any time after the first month without paying a Viasat early termination fee.
If you are on the fence about committing to being at the same address for 24-months, do the math and decide if the No Long-Term Contract Option or the early termination fee of $15/month for each month left on your contract will be more advantageous for you.
